Parsons Members Share Healing Ministry
Members of the Parsons, Tenn., Church undertook an interesting community service on Sabbath, August 11, 2018. Henderson County Board of Education planned Family Day at the local public high school. Public organizations could advertise their activities and local programs at the event.
The Parsons members decided to have a display table full of information about the benefits of the eight laws of health. They even gave out samples of fresh vegetarian butter and whole wheat crackers, and free paperback copies of Ellen White’s Ministry of Healing.
Although the assigned display table for Parsons was located at the very end in the gym, it still drew more visitors than most tables. Interest by the attendees from the community was excellent. Twenty-five visitors signed a list to be called when the church holds their next vegetarian cooking class. Plans to have a display table at the next Board of Education’s Family Day will start soon.
