Cheesy

By Elaiza Varela

“Yes mom!”

I have said that phrase about 100 times already with the occasional “oops I forgot,” or the “I don’t need that.” Packing for a huge trip like this takes a lot of work especially if you’re going to be gone for almost a week and a half.

Maybe I should introduce myself shouldn’t I? Hi! My name is Luna Joestar. Only child by the way and I’m 15. This year or should I say this week I’m going to Osh- hold it, hold it, hold it. What have I told you about narrating your own story? We have talked about this time and time again, I’m the narrator, not you. Fine! You are no fun. Go ahead, do your job. Go narrate. Thank you.

Today is the day. The trip. Where hundreds of kids from around come together to praise God and have an amazing end of their summer. One group of rowdy kids go on a ten day trip, six days on a bus touring the eastern side of America and then four days at Oshkosh Wisconsin, home of the cheese! For the first six days they go from Tampa, Florida, to Washington D.C., then to New York, to Chicago, then finally Oshkosh. During that time Luna and her close friends experience an adventure of a lifetime with dangerous thrills… what… fun and games… ok that’s a bit better… and great memories to remember for- ok let me stop you ri- No! You don’t get to stop me from doing my job.

To be continued…
