Why I think everyone should go to Oshkosh

By Caleb Prado

My absolute favorite thing about Oshkosh wasn’t actually any of the awesome activities they have here to enjoy, but rather the fact that I can worship and talk with so many people of the same faith. Over 55 thousand people gather together to have fun, earn honors and celebrate the different cultures of over a 50 countries.

Everything about this camporee, from the food to the pin trading, is something that you could never forget.

I feel that the words of pathfinder leader and director Daysi Prado “This whole trip was worth every penny” really sums up how our pathfinder group feels.

One of the things that really stood out was also the many baptisms (over 700 and counting) that are taking place here as a result of the Holy Spirits presence at this camporee. I definitely plan on coming back in another 5 years and hopefully being able to share this experience even more friends and family.
