The Ridgerunners with the food items collected
The Ridgetop, Tenn., Ridgerunner Pathfinders collected more than 2,000 food items on Halloween and delivered them to the Community Service Center for distribution. The annual event is one of three recent outreach programs sponsored by the club. Under the direction of Becky Massey, the Pathfinders also collected 84 of Samaritan Purse’s Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes filled by church members and friends. In addition, they participated in a 5K run-walk in partnership with the beneficiary of the event, the Ridgetop Volunteer Fire Department.
