Double-scoop 100% plant-based waffle cones were among the many treats that were available from more than 50 vendors offering holistic goods and services at the second Vegan Life Festival at LifeSpace Marketplace.
Hundreds attended the event on September 7, 2025, designed to promote holistic lifestyle changes and highlight the upcoming launch of the South Atlantic Conference’s LifeSpace Marketplace Wellness Center. The facility, set to open in 2026, will provide space for health and wellness providers serving the Atlanta, Ga., community. Its motto, “One Space, Whole Life,” was reflected throughout the day’s activities.
Festivalgoers had access to a variety of health-focused services and entertainment. Southside Medical brought its 18-wheel mobile unit to provide on-site medical care. Other offerings included massage therapy, fitness coaching, counseling, plant-based cooking workshops, Wildwood lifestyle assessments, and meditation and prayer sessions. Families enjoyed children’s recreation, games, and prizes, while vendors sold vegan food, herbs, desserts, and beverages. The Adventist Book Center and several local organizations also participated.
Entertainment took place on stage throughout the day, and several elected officials attended the event. A representative for Andre Dickens, mayor of Atlanta, delivered remarks to the crowd.
Organizers reported a large turnout, with more than 2,000 tickets reserved for the event. The festival closed with a prayer for healing and an anointing service, underscoring its theme of wellness for mind, body, and spirit.
The festival was organized and implemented by the South Atlantic Conference Community Services Department, under the leadership of Joshua Nelson, D.Min., director. The annual festival is part of a broader effort to raise awareness of holistic living and to support the LifeSpace Marketplace project.
