Hi, my name is Nazir Johns and this year I attended the Oshkosh 2019 camporee. I drove 18 hours from Salisbury, North Carolina. While I was here I have obtained a new hobby which is pin trading.
At first I thought pin trading was boring but as soon as I collected my first pin at hangar A, I knew this was it. My pathfinder leader had said “Nazir you need to stop trading pins while we are walking down the road, you’re slowing us down.”
My first pin was a Nintendo switch. And I regret trading it because it was a really bad trade. Right now I am focusing on collecting pins instead of trading pins.
My friend said “Naz u need to chill out with the pin trading.” I am definitely going to pursue pin trading and even make my own pins someday.
I have not just been trading pins this whole time I have had a lot of fun doing the obstacle course. My favorite part of Oshkosh are the nightly plays, they have they are so interesting even though it’s cold outside. My pin sash is almost at the half mark and I plan to have hundreds of pins by the next camporee.
