Three days of travel to get to the biggest camporee I have ever been too. I was looking forward to meeting international Pathfinders.
On Wednesday I met two sisters from California who were kind enough to start me off on pin trading. I received 2 pins from them which was the kindest thing ever. Then I exchanged contact information with the youngest sister and we became friends.
On Thursday, thanks to my friend, I was able to talk to a Korean counselor. My friend Laylay told me, “This is your goal to meet a Korean and speak to them so go for it.”
I am glad I listened to her because it was a very life changing experience.
Then on Thursday evening we sat to watch the evening program, I met another Korean group. I befriended two Korean Pathfinders and I was able to talk to them in Korean. We took pictures together. That made my day.
