Members of the Memphis, Tenn., Midtown Hispanic Mission Group were thrilled as Steve Rose, vice president for administration for the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference, organized the members as the Memphis Orion Hispanic Company on Sabbath, July 14, 2018.
The Lord has been adding more and more members as the result of their community services, hospital ministry, prison ministry, and other ministries of the church family. The members’ emotions and joy were evident on their faces as they praised God and said with certainty, “Thus far the Lord has helped us. All the honor and glory belongs to God who will continue to help us until Jesus comes the second time!”
Trusting that God has allowed them to be in this place for a reason, the members of this new company are participating in the planting of two new mission groups in metropolitan Memphis. They are determined to follow their Captain, and fulfill the biblical mandate to go and teach others the truths of the eternal Gospel. It is their goal to introduce many people to Jesus, that they may be saved and prepared for the time of the end.
This new congregation asks for prayers that nothing will separate them from “the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”!
