Orlando Spanish Church Baptizes 21 New Members

BY George Nina

Some of the 21 new members baptized at Orlando Spanish Church who accepted Jesus as their Savior after Roger Hernandez’s evangelistic series

Orlando Spanish Church recently experienced the blessings resulting from the fulfillment of Matthew 28:19: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Following this mandate from the Lord Jesus Christ, the church received blessings from 21 new souls accepting Jesus Christ during a recent evangelistic series, "Todos Tenemos Vida (We All Have Life)," with Roger Hernandez, Southern Union Conference director of ministerial and evangelism.

The church grew not only in number, but also in unity. Oscar Tavera, local pastor, coordinated community reach-out efforts by mobilizing church members in preparation for the campaign. With the support of life groups and church leaders, the congregation was blessed every night by powerful messages, excellent musical performances, and the presence of a large number of guests. Many more attendees requested Bible study as they prepare to join the Adventist Church in a future baptism.
