“The Oshkosh Camporee is like the Seventh Day Adventist Coachella.” To me those words are true.
There are so many tents and people. Everyone is always doing something, and every night there is a huge get-together to celebrate God and reflect on the activities of the day. Here there are people from almost every corner of the Earth.
To me it is so fun to trade pins and communicate with people who speaks the languages I am learning. I was able to see all the countries that are representing on the first night when they displayed them on the screen.
I think it was worth traveling far and my mom yelling at me to pack. This will be an experience to remember.
